Our aim

We want everyone to be able to find and apply for work, and to contact us, on this website, whatever device they use and whatever their abilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How accessible this website is

We test this website ourselves, and it has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. Every page is checked automatically before each release. We know of the limitations listed below, and we are working on them.

What we do

• Every page is tested before each release at phone, small-phone and desktop sizes, for text contrast (WCAG AA), a single main heading, broken links and layout problems.

• Pages can be zoomed to 400% (tested at 320 pixels wide) without scrolling sideways.

• Pages use real headings, lists, labels and landmarks, and set their language, so screen readers can navigate and read them correctly.

• A "skip to content" link is the first thing on every page, and the item you are on is always clearly outlined when you use a keyboard.

• The menu, forms, job search, map and chat assistant are designed to be used with a keyboard; the chat closes with the Escape key.

• Job search works without JavaScript.

• Body text is at least 15 pixels. Nothing flashes, and animation switches off if your device is set to reduce motion.

• Nothing from Google Analytics loads unless you agree to it, and the cookie banner can be used with a keyboard.

Known limitations

• The Europe map shows country guides by location. The same guides are available as a plain list, which screen reader users may find easier.

• Content from other websites, such as LinkedIn posts, is outside our control.

• Answers from the chat assistant are written by AI and may not always be clear. Our team can answer any question directly.
