About the Opportunity
Evergreen Talent Group is partnering with a leading Tier 1 contractor to appoint an experienced Senior CSA Estimator to support major data centre tenders across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

This is a senior preconstruction role with responsibility for producing accurate, competitive and commercially robust estimates across Civil, Structural and Architectural packages, working closely with commercial, design, procurement and operational teams from tender stage through to handover.

Key Tasks of the Senior CSA Estimator

• Complete detailed take-offs and measurement of CSA works.

• Prepare tender breakdowns, cost plans and pricing schedules.

• Issue and manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries.

• Analyse quotations and prepare bid comparison reports.

• Identify exclusions, clarifications, assumptions and commercial risks.

• Review tender programmes and assess preliminaries, logistics and temporary works requirements.

• Support value engineering workshops and cost-saving initiatives.

• Attend tender meetings, site visits and internal bid reviews.

• Maintain historical cost data and market benchmarking information.

• Support post-tender clarifications and negotiations.

• Assist with handover of successful tenders to commercial and delivery teams.

• Ensure all tender documentation is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior CSA Estimator

• Lead the CSA estimating process for large-scale data centre tenders.

• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and tender submissions across civil, structural and architectural packages.

• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and tender documentation to identify scope, risk and opportunity.

• Coordinate with design, commercial, procurement and construction teams to develop robust pricing strategies.

• Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, quotations and commercial comparisons.

• Support value engineering and alternative construction solutions.

• Ensure estimates reflect programme, logistics, temporary works and site-specific requirements.

• Contribute to tender strategy, bid reviews and commercial handover to project teams.

• Maintain strong cost intelligence and benchmarking across Ireland, UK and European markets.

Experience & Requirements of the Senior CSA Estimator

• Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering or similar.

• Strong experience estimating CSA packages on large-scale construction projects.

• Previous Data Centre / Mission Critical tendering experience highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction methodologies.

• Experience pricing projects across Ireland, the UK and/or Europe advantageous.

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of subcontractor procurement.

• Excellent analytical, numerical and negotiation skills.

• Strong knowledge of estimating software, Excel and tendering systems.

• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work effectively to tight deadlines.
