About the Opportunity
A leading Tier 1 Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join its growing project delivery team based in Dublin, initially supporting the successful delivery of a major Hyperscale Data Centre.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Electrical Package Manager, Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Building Services Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of major Electrical Building Services packages on one of Ireland's largest Data Centre developments.
Working closely with Project Directors, Construction Managers, Commercial Teams, BIM Engineers, Planning Teams, QA/QC Engineers and Commissioning Managers, the successful Electrical Package Manager will be responsible for ensuring all Electrical Engineering works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role - Electrical Package Manager
As Electrical Package Manager, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of designated Electrical Building Services packages throughout the project lifecycle. The successful Electrical Package Manager will manage engineering, procurement, construction, quality, commissioning and subcontractor performance while ensuring all Electrical Engineering installations are completed in accordance with project specifications and programme milestones.

Working on a landmark Hyperscale Data Centre, the Electrical Package Manager will provide technical and operational leadership throughout every phase of the Data Centre construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Electrical Package Management & Data Centre Delivery

• Lead the successful delivery of major Electrical Building Services packages across a large Hyperscale Data Centre, ensuring all electrical installations are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

• Take ownership of package planning, procurement, construction sequencing, resource allocation, subcontractor management, programme delivery and commercial performance while maintaining full accountability for your allocated Electrical Engineering package.

Electrical Engineering & Technical Coordination

• Manage the installation and coordination of HV, MV and LV systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, busbar systems, cable containment, power distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarm, security systems, structured cabling, earthing and lightning protection, BMS, EPMS and ICT infrastructure throughout the Data Centre project.

• Coordinate engineering reviews, BIM coordination, technical submittals, RFIs, value engineering initiatives, design changes, long-lead equipment and procurement schedules while ensuring full compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

Programme & Construction Management

• Work closely with Construction Managers, Electrical Supervisors, Project Planners and Commercial Teams to monitor progress, manage critical path activities, mitigate programme risks and develop recovery plans where necessary.

• Coordinate daily site operations, monitor labour productivity, manage subcontractor performance and ensure electrical works remain aligned with overall project milestones.

Health, Safety, Quality & Commissioning

• Champion a positive Health & Safety culture, ensuring full compliance with company procedures, statutory regulations and client standards across all Electrical Construction activities.

• Work closely with QA/QC Engineers to ensure Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspections, testing, cable testing, panel inspections, energisation readiness, snagging and quality documentation are completed in accordance with project requirements.

• Support Level 1-5 commissioning, energisation, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), client demonstrations and final handover, ensuring all Electrical Building Services systems are delivered fully operational.

Commercial & Stakeholder Management

• Support Project Managers with cost control, procurement, change management, subcontractor accounts, variations, risk management and package reporting while protecting the commercial performance of the project.

• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, specialist suppliers, equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, commissioning teams and internal stakeholders while representing the company as the lead Electrical Package Manager for your allocated package.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or possess a recognised Electrical trade qualification supported by significant project delivery experience.

• 7+ years' experience as an Electrical Package Manager, Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Building Services Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer within an M&E contracting or Tier 1 construction environment.

• Proven experience delivering complex Data Centre, Hyperscale Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Life Sciences or Semiconductor projects with responsibility for major Electrical Building Services packages.

• Strong technical knowledge of: Electrical Package Management, Electrical Engineering. Electrical Building Services, HV, MV and LV Systems, Transformers, Switchgear, UPS Systems, Standby Generators, Busbar, Cable Containment, Power Distribution, Lighting and Small Power, Fire Alarm Systems, BMS and EPMS, ICT Infrastructure, Data Centre Construction, Commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing, Construction Planning, Procurement, Subcontractor Management, Commercial Awareness

• Experience managing specialist electrical subcontractors, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering Electrical Engineering packages on fast-paced Data Centre projects.

• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining programme, safety, quality and commercial objectives.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Procore and other digital construction management platforms.
