About the Opportunity
A leading Tier 1 Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join its growing project delivery team based in Dublin, initially supporting the successful delivery of a major Hyperscale Data Centre.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Foreman, or Electrical Chargehand to join one of Ireland's leading contractors delivering high-value Data Centre projects. The successful Electrical Site Supervisor will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinating Electrical Building Services installation activities while ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with the Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Construction Manager, Site Engineers, BIM Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, Commissioning Teams and subcontractors, the successful Electrical Site Supervisor will play a vital role in the successful delivery of this flagship Hyperscale Data Centre.

The Role - Electrical Site Supervisor
As Electrical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the installation of all Electrical Building Services throughout the project lifecycle. The successful Electrical Site Supervisor will coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, plant and site activities while ensuring all electrical installations comply with project specifications, safety procedures and quality standards.

Working on a landmark Hyperscale Data Centre, the Electrical Site Supervisor will provide daily leadership on site, ensuring construction activities remain aligned with programme milestones and commissioning requirements.

Key Responsibilities Electrical Site Supervision & Data Centre Delivery

• Supervise all Electrical Building Services installation activities across a major Hyperscale Data Centre, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.

• Lead and coordinate Electrical Subcontractors, Electricians, Chargehands, Apprentices and specialist vendors while monitoring productivity, workmanship and installation quality throughout the Data Centre project.

Electrical Building Services Installation

• Supervise the installation of LV & MV Electrical Systems, High Voltage (HV) Infrastructure, Transformers, Switchgear, UPS Systems, Standby Generators, Busbar Systems, Cable Containment, Power Distribution, Lighting, Small Power, Fire Alarm Systems, Security Systems, Structured Cabling, Earthing & Lightning Protection, BMS, EPMS, ICT Infrastructure, and associated Electrical Building Services.

• Ensure installations are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and project quality requirements.

Programme & Site Coordination

• Work closely with the Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Construction Manager, Project Planners and Site Engineers to monitor daily progress, resolve technical issues, coordinate material deliveries and maintain programme milestones.

• Attend daily coordination meetings, toolbox talks, subcontractor meetings and planning sessions while identifying and mitigating programme risks.

Health, Safety, Quality & Commissioning

• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture by ensuring compliance with company procedures, statutory regulations and client safety standards across all Electrical Construction activities.

• Support QA/QC Engineers by ensuring Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspections, testing, snagging and quality documentation are completed in line with project requirements.

• Coordinate pre-commissioning activities and support Level 1-5 commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), energisation and final client handover.

Team Leadership & Communication

• Provide daily leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to site teams while promoting high standards of workmanship, productivity and collaboration.

• Build effective working relationships with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, QA/QC Teams, Commissioning Teams, Clients and subcontractors to ensure successful Data Centre project delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification with relevant supervisory experience. An additional qualification in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management would be advantageous.

• 5+ years' experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Foreman, Electrical Chargehand, Electrical Site Manager, or Electrical Engineer within an M&E Contractor or Tier 1 construction environment.

• Proven experience delivering Data Centre, Hyperscale Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Life Sciences, or Semiconductor projects.

• Strong technical knowledge of: Electrical Site Supervision, Electrical Building Services, Electrical Construction, Data Centre Construction, Hyperscale Data Centres, Mission Critical Construction, High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), Switchgear, Transformers, UPS Systems, Generators, Busbar, Cable Containment, Lighting & Small Power, Fire Alarm Systems, Security Systems, BMS, EPMS, Commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST)

• Experience supervising Electrical Subcontractors, coordinating multiple work fronts and maintaining programme delivery within fast-paced construction environments.

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital construction platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 would be advantageous.
